Jens K. Styve (f. 1972) er frå Hjelmås i Nordhordland og bur i Tromsø. Han debuterte som forfattar i 2008 med romanen Eg, Ove Kvamme. Styve har gjort stor suksess med stripeserien Dunce. Serien går kvar dag i Klassekampen, pluss mange andre aviser, og rettane er selde til teikneserienasjonen Frankrike! Serien har vunne Dagbladets teikneseriekonkurranse i 2016 og Pondus-prisen i 2018. Styve vann også Sproingprisen 2019 for Dunce, i kategorien beste norske teikneserie.
